Chelsea are in the market for a new centre-back this summer following the departures of Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger.

The Blues have signed Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli already, but are still eyeing a second central defender.

A number of players have been linked, with one of the latest being Wesley Fofana of Leicester City.

Now though, it appears another name has caught the eye of the Stamford Bridge chiefs.

According to Firenze Viola, multiple clubs are interested in signing Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic, with Tottenham, Chelsea, Juventus, and Inter Milan all keeping tabs on the Serbian defender.

In terms of a potential fee, it is believed that Milenkovic could cost any potential suitor just €15m. This could allow Chelsea to save a fair bit of money as their other target at present, Fofana, is likely cost in excess of £70m this summer, which is pretty steep considering he only really has one full season of Premier League football under his belt.

The 24-year-old is a solid centre-back and would be a good rotation option for a side like Chelsea. But if you want a long-term replacement for Thiago Silva or Cesar Azpilicueta, he is probably not the man to bring in.

The Serbian has made 171 appearances for current side Fiorentina, notching 14 goals and one assist when doing so.
