Chelsea currently have two senior strikers on their books in Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Armando Broja.
However, Aubameyang has struggled for goals since he joined the Blues earlier this year.
Broja, meanwhile, suffered a horrific injury in a friendly vs Aston Villa on Saturday and is likely to be out for some time:
“It was just an unfortunate action,’ said Graham Potter post-match. “He got caught up with their player and the ground. “It doesn’t look positive at the moment but it’s too early to say. Fingers crossed but it is an awkward one.”
Now, on Monday, The Athletic have linked Chelsea with another young striker.
It is reported that Chelsea are exploring the possibility of bringing Youssoufa Moukoko to Stamford Bridge. A move to Chelsea is certainly not done but other Premier League clubs are under the impression it is advanced and are watching closely.
Moukoko became the youngest player to represent Germany at a World Cup when he came on as a substitute in the 2-1 defeat by Japan in their opening group game, aged 18 years and three days.
