The Blues have announced the loan signing of Felix from Atletico Madrid on Wednesday.

However, it appears Chelsea are still looking at more attacking options to help with their lack of goals.

The Blues have scored just three in their last seven matches and are slowly slipping down the league table.

One player seemingly being eyed to help with this issue is Noni Madueke of PSV.

As per Fabrizio Romano: “Chelsea follow really many players, yes Madueke is one of many players appreciated but they also know PSV Eindhoven have already sold Gakpo and they will try to keep all their stars.

“Last summer, they were looking for more than €35m to sell Madueke,” Romano said.

He has since made 79 appearances for the Dutch outfit, scoring 20 goals and providing 14 assists.

Madueke has played as a right-winger during 2022/23 so far, but he is a very versatile forward who can play all across the front line.

101 previously spoke to former Chelsea, Liverpool and Middlesbrough midfielder Boudewijn Zenden about PSV’s latest rising star.

After hanging up his boots, Zenden has spent the last several years working with PSV in some capacity, where he has been able to get an up-close look at Madueke: “He [Madueke] can be dangerous from the right and the middle. In the near future he should be able to play from the left to.”

“He has a strong character and believes in himself. His desire to succeed should be a trigger to keep developing as a player.”

“His pace is hard to train so he should use it to his advantage. He is always trying to find a way to the goal. That is his best attribute.”
