The player in question is Dusan Vlahovic.
Vlahovic joined Juventus in January 2022 for £66.6m and has scored 23 goals in 63 matches for the Italian giants.
Italian outlet Calciomercato reported in May that Dusan Vlahovic was on the shortlist of Arsenal and that Juventus are prepared to part ways with him this summer.
Rudy Galetti then reported in June that new Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino wants Juventus man Dusan Vlahovic and considers him the ideal striker:
“I was told a week ago Pochettino wants him, considering him the ideal striker for his tactical idea, however, the Blues have to pay attention to the competition,” he said.
“Bayern Munich in fact are increasing the pressure on Dusan, targeted as their priority to strengthen the attack. Anyway, in general, Dusan would like to leave Juventus after this last difficult season, and that’s why an original agreement on personal terms we deem shouldn’t be so difficult.”
