Tottenham to win 2-1 (17/2)

Tottenham face a difficult trip to Turf Moor on Saturday to face an in-form Burnley side.

However, Spurs will be looking to build on a huge 3-2 win over Man City over the weekend.

Burnley produced their best performance of the season on Saturday as they hammered Brighton at the Amex.

The Clarets defeated the hosts 3-0 with goals from Weghorst, Brownhill and Lennon.

The win lifts them off the bottom of the table but they remain five points adrift of safety.

Sean Dyche’s side does have a couple of games in hand over the teams around which could lift them out of the bottom three.

Two weeks ago, the Lancashire club also managed to hold Manchester United to a draw at Turf Moor.

Tottenham stun Manchester City

Burnley weren’t the only team over the weekend to produce their best display of the season as Tottenham also managed it.

Spurs stunned the Etihad as they defeated Manchester City 3-2 with a 95th-minute winner.

Harry Kane was sensational as he helped create Spurs’ first before netting a brace.

The victory ended a run of three straight defeats for Antonio Conte’s side and get their top-four push back on track.

Burnley team news

Wout Weghorst, Maxwel Cornet and James Tarkowski are all set to undergo late fitness tests.

Johann Berg Gudmundsson and Matej Vydra both remain sidelined.

Tottenham Hotspur team news

Oliver Skipp is expected to remain sidelined for Wednesday’s clash.

Japhet Tanganga and Sergio Reguilon are also out of the match.
