Premier League giants Chelsea have, on Saturday, closed a deal for a fresh addition to the club’s vaunted academy setup.
The latest youngster primed to take his talents to west London? Dujuan Richards.
Richards, 17, is a versatile attacker, currently plying his trade with the Phoenix All Stars in his home country of Jamaica.
The starlet is widely considered to be one of the most promising up-and-coming Jamaican talents in some time, as evidenced by the fact that he has already notched a pair of senior international caps.
As alluded to above, though, Richards’ development, in the very near future, will take on a new path.
This comes after English heavyweights Chelsea struck a deal with their counterparts at the All Stars, to bring the frontman to west London.
‘Official, confirmed. Chelsea have signed Jamaica international Dujuan ‘Whisper’ Richards’.
Richards, for the time being, will remain in Kingston, before making the move to Stamford Bridge in November, following his 18th birthday.
