Match preview
Fulham and Everton will meet at Craven Cottage in the Premier League this weekend with the Cottagers and the away side both registering fantastic wins in recent weeks that have ignited their seasons.
Aleksandar Mitrovic now has nine goals in 11 Premier League games this season for Fulham which now means only Harry Kane and Erling Haaland have scored more than him this campaign. The Serbian will be up for it again this weekend against Everton, but comes up against a side that has improved greatly in defence this season with just 12 goals let in from 12 games
On the other hand, after beating Leeds United 3-2, Fulham have now scored 22 goals and let in and 22 as well, making them a tough side to predict this season. They are, however, still one point above Liverpool ahead of the weekend games.
Everton, however, are dealing with the fact that if they can win here and Liverpool lose to Leeds United, they will draw level on points with their Merseyside rivals. This comes off the back of the Toffees getting their best win of the season in a 3-0 win over Crystal Palace, as Dominic Calvert-Lewin got a goal for the first time in many months.
Fulham are also on a three-game unbeaten run, however, following on from their 3-1 loss to West Ham United. Marco Silva has since guided his side to a 2-2 draw with Bournemouth, before hammering Aston Villa 3-0 and then Leeds 3-2.
