The latest photos stemming from the training ground of Premier League giants Arsenal have confirmed some altogether timely positive news on the injury front.

Mikel Arteta’s troops, of course, are primed to return to action on Wednesday night.

Fresh off a scintillating start to the new campaign, which currently sees them sitting pretty atop the English top-flight, the Gunners will welcome Steven Gerrard’s Aston Villa to the Emirates, eyeing a 5th successive victory.

The days leading up to the capital clash, though, have proven to be of a largely concerning nature for all associated with Arsenal.

This comes with an early-season injury bug having ripped through Arteta’s midfield ranks, placing, at one point or another, all of Thomas Partey, Mohamed Elneny and Oleksandr Zinchenko on the treatment table.

It will therefore come as a massive boost for the Arsenal faithful to hear, on Tuesday, of one of this trio being spotted back in first-team training.

As showcased in the images below, the Ukrainian international, who was forced to sit out his new side’s win over Fulham at the weekend, was spotted alongside the rest of Arteta’s ranks at London Colney this afternoon:

Zinchenko, as a result, could well be afforded a starting berth in the middle of the park against Villa, allowing Kieran Tierney to continue at left-back.
