Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur have agreed to allow Tanguy Ndombele to depart the club on loan once again, it has been confirmed.

Midfielder Ndombele, of course, is currently plying his trade back in north London.

This comes after former club Olympique Lyonnais, in a surprise to none, opted against taking up their mammoth option to buy on the 25-year-old, after his loan stint with the club came to an end last month.

With Tottenham having added to their ranks in the middle of the park courtesy of the likes of Yves Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarr ahead of next season, though, it has long been apparent that Ndombele is viewed as surplus to requirements by Antonio Conte and co.

A fresh departure for the French international, in turn, was widely expected over the course of the coming weeks.

And now, as alluded to above, developments towards precisely that have been revealed.

Ndombele is therefore primed to take his talents to Serie A, to spend the coming season on loan in Naples.

The Partenopei, it is understood, have also secured an option to buy as part of the deal, the value of which is yet to be revealed.
