Arsenal star Bukayo Saka has, on Saturday evening, etched his name into an altogether exclusive European club.
Saka, of course, is currently lining out for Mikel Arteta’s table-topping troops.
After watching 2nd-placed Manchester City drop further points in a meeting with Everton earlier in the day, the Gunners made the trip to England’s south coast, hopeful of taking advantage of the situation courtesy of a fifth league win on the bounce.
And, as things stand at the Amex, all three points is precisely what Arsenal appear to be headed towards.
This comes with Arteta’s men currently in possession of a three-goal advantage, owing to strikes on the part of Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard and Eddie Nketiah.

And now, as alluded to above, a head-turning statistic surrounding one of the Gunners’ latest goalscorers has come to the fore online.
Saka has of course enjoyed a stellar campaign to date, continuing to light up Arsenal’s right wing courtesy of a unique combination of touch, pace, intelligence and final ball.
In turn, after finding the net once more against Brighton, the 21-year-old became just the 4th player across Europe’s top-five leagues to both score six or more goals and provide six or more assists thus far in 2022/2023.
Only four players have scored 6+ goals and provided 6+ assists in a top-five European league this season:
✅ Lionel Messi
✅ Neymar
✅ Jamal Musiala
✅ Bukayo SakaBallers everywhere.
