As per Football365, Manchester United are now expected to complete the signing of Napoli defender Kim Min-jae for a fee in the region of £53m.
Kim Min-jae has only been with Napoli since the summer of 2022 but he is already one of the best centre-backs in the Serie A.
The 6ft 2 stopper has featured in all but one of Napoli’s 33 Serie A games so far this season.
In that time the now Serie A champions have shipped just 23 goals, which is the best record in the division.
His excellent form has seen him linked with Manchester United a fair bit over the course of the current campaign.
The Faithful MUFC add that a deal to sign Kim is actually ‘very close’. The South Korean is expected to return to his home country at the end of the season but could leave Napoli very soon after his return.
Whatever the fee, though, the stopper is expected to be a solid signing for United if they can get a deal over the line.
