Barcelona director Mateu Alemany has, on Saturday, dropped a major hint over the club’s plans for the summer transfer window.
The subject of potential additions have of course continued to dominate the headlines at the Camp Nou leading into the final weeks of the campaign.
This comes as the powers that be in Catalunya aim to build on a season which has seen the club return to dominant ways on the domestic front, but falter once more on the continent.
To this point, a whole host of high-profile names have been tipped to link up with Xavi Hernandez’s troops, from club icon Lionel Messi to Chelsea standout Reece James.

Concerns, though, have long been present that Barca simply won’t be able to afford such additions, owing to the long-standing monetary issues at the club.
Speaking to the media on Sunday, it therefore came as little surprise when the subject of the Blaugrana’s plans for the summer were put to club director Mateu Alemany.
“It’s gonna be an interesting summer, I can tell you that…”
