A pair of head-turning statistics have come to the fore online, on the back of Spanish giants Barcelona’s latest victory on Saturday night.
For those who may have missed it, the Blaugrana were back in action a short time ago.
Already sitting a full 12 points clear of Clasico rivals Real Madrid atop the La Liga table, Xavi Hernandez and co. made the trip to The Estadio Martínez Valero, for a meeting with basement dwellers Elche.
And, when all was said and done, Barca only went on to strengthen their grip on the Spanish top-flight title.
This came as goals on the part of all of Robert Lewandowski (2), Ansu Fati and Ferran Torres guided the evening’s visitors to a dominant 4-0 triumph.

And, as alluded to above, on the back of the full-time at the Martínez Valero, Barcelona’s domestic excellence across the season to date has since been aptly highlighted by way of a pair of stellar statistics.
12 – @FCBarcelona have won 12 away games in @LaLigaEN 2022/23, the most in Europe’s top five leagues this season along with Napoli in Serie A (also 12).

Not only that, but boss Xavi Hernandez has too made history, as the 2nd-fastest manager to ever reach the 40-win mark in La Liga on the Blaugrana bench.
He has done so faster than the iconic Pep Guardiola, now trailing only Luis Enrique:
