Spanish giants Barcelona have taken to social media on Sunday evening, to have some lighthearted fun at the expense of Clasico rivals Real Madrid.
Real, of course, were back in action a short time ago.
After Xavi’s Barca made it six wins on the trot courtesy of a Robert Lewandowski-inspired downing of Mallorca on Saturday, Los Blancos welcomed Osasuna to the Bernabeu for their own post-international break return to action.
When all was said and done in Spain’s capital, though, Carlo Ancelotti’s troops were forced to face up to a first pair of points dropped this season.
This came as Karim Benzema’s missed 2nd-half spot-kick proved altogether costly en route to a 1-1 draw.

As a result, it is Barcelona who will finish the gameweek sitting pretty atop the La Liga table.

And, as alluded to above, the Catalans are evidently keen to remind their fiercest rivals of as much.
In a post across the club’s social media platforms late on Sunday night, Barca unveiled a photo of boss Xavi Hernandez in training, holding up a single finger.
The image, intended as a subtle dig at Real Madrid, is accompanied by the simple caption of a pair of eyes, as showcased below:
