João Félix’s future is expected to be a seriously hot topic this month.

Manchester United and Arsenal are both keen on signing the forward.

Atlético Madrid have made it clear that they are open to letting him leave, with the 23-year-old having fallen out with Diego Simeone.

The Red Devils have even made an opening offer, which for now has fallen short of Atléti’s demands.

But Jorge Mendes has started work on trying to find a solution with the Spanish club to get him out this month.

Jorge Mendes met with Atlético Madrid‘s CEO, Miguel Ángel Gil Marín, on Thursday, as per Relevo.

Erik ten Hag’s side offered a simple loan until June for €4 million and the player’s salary paid in full.

Atléti want a fee of €12 million to let him leave for this formula

Meanwhile, Arsenal are also waiting in the wings, in case Atlético cave in and let him go for cheaper.

The club are fully aware that Félix has completely fallen out with Simeone but remain open to keep him until the end of the season.

Now, both Manchester United and Arsenal will have to wait and see whether Madrid change their mind.
