Spanish giants Barcelona have, late on Saturday, provided an update on the wellbeing of star winger Ousmane Dembele.
For those not aware, Dembele set pulses racing across the Barca fanbase earlier today.
This came upon the French international – of course in the midst of a stellar stretch of individual form – being forced into a premature departure from the club’s latest outing.
En route to a 1-0 Blaugrana win over Girona, Dembele pulled up with a muscular problem inside the half-hour mark.

Speaking to the media post-match, boss Xavi Hernandez was not shy in admitting that the development had turned Barca’s plans for the weeks ahead ‘upside down’, sparking immediate concern surrounding a potentially prolonged spell out of action for Dembele.
And now, as alluded to above, a fresh insight into the situation has been provided.
Dembele, in turn, is simply labelled as ‘out’, ahead of a treatment plan determining his precise recovery timeline moving forward.
