Barcelona are ready to place three players on the transfer market this winter as they look to raise funds to continue rebuilding their squad under Xavi.
Currently sitting atop La Liga courtesy of a win over Atletico Madrid at the weekend, the Blaugrana have a massive period ahead of them which includes a Europa League last 32 tie with Manchester United as well as a supercup semi-final against Real Betis.
And Xavi is not anticipating many changes to his squad in the transfer window, explaining that “I have spoken with Jordi and Mateu and the club and I have made it clear to them that I am happy with what I have in the squad and that if nothing is touched I will be delighted because we are working very well.”
“The truth is that I am very happy with the team I have”, he added. “In the summer they signed a lot [of players] and well and I think we have a very competitive team to face all the competitions that remain”.
However, reports suggest that sales may be inevitable in the weeks to come, with El Chiringuito claiming that three stars are up for sale in a bid to raise funds at the Camp Nou.
These include Spanish pair Ansu Fati and Ferran Torres, both of whom have struggled somewhat this campaign and only picked up 11 La Liga starts between them, as well as summer signing Raphinha, who could be primed for a shock exit.

Any of the three departing would almost certainly raise significant funds for the club, who remain in debt even after using three economic ‘levers’ in the summer.
