According to a report from Daily Mail, Liverpool have been linked with a move for the Japanese attacking midfielder Keito Nakamura but will face competition from Premier League rivals Aston Villa for his signature.
The attacker has a contract with LASK until the summer of 2025 and it remains to be seen whether Liverpool can agree on a reasonable fee for him.
No potential transfer fee is mentioned in the report, but he is currently valued at just €8m on transfermarket.com.
Nakamura joined current side LASK in the summer of 2021. It was the 2022/23 season where he truly came into his own, though.
The left-sided forward scored 17 goals and provided eight assists in 36 outings for the Austrian side.
Nakamura is also just 22 years of age so still has plenty of time to improve and reach his prime.
Arsenal told they can sign ‘Turkish Lionel Messi’ for €17.5m
