Alphonso Davies has clarified his future after comments by his agent Nedal Huoseh suggested that he may look to move away from the German giants in the coming seasons amid interest from Real Madrid.
Davies’ agent shed doubt on his client potentially staying at the Allianz Arena, where he has two years left to run on his contract, by citing the instability at board level that has seen both CEO Oliver Kahn and sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic depart in recent weeks.
“There seems to be too much instability and uncertainty about the direction of Bayern now”, he told German outlet Bild.
“Maybe it’s better if we wait until 2024 and see how things develop with the club before we move on to a new contract”.
This led to speculation that Davies could be tempted away from the club, with Real Madrid one of the sides targetting a new left-back this summer and both they and English Champions Manchester City keeping tabs on the 22-year-old star.

Injuries restricted Davies to just 26 Bundesliga appearances last campaign, but he started just about every game that he was fit for despite the arrival of Joao Cancelo in January on loan from Manchester City.
“The transfer rumours are out there, but at the end of the day they’re still rumours. I still have two years left at Bayern”, the Canadian star told BeIN sports.
“My main goal is to play at Bayern and help the team”, he added, effectively putting pay to any departure this summer.
It means that both City and Los Blancos will be forced to look elsewhere for reinforcements this summer, with Theo Hernandez one of several being monitored amid uncertainty at AC Milan.
