Parise Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti has been linked with a move away from the French club this summer.
Verratti is 30 years of age, but the likes of Luka Modric and Casemiro have shown players can still excel at the highest level well into their 30s.
Verratti has been a mainstay in PSG’s XI for many years now, notching over 400 appearances for them, in which time he has won eight Ligue 1 titles and countless domestic cups.
Now, according to a report from Spanish outlet Marca, Liverpool are interested in signing the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder.
It is added that there are other clubs, keen on signing the 30-year-old Italian international and Paris Saint-Germain are open to letting the player leave for the right price.
That price tag is believed to be somewhere in the region of €70m, which is a fair chunk of change for a player who is now in his 30s.
