The Reds have been very active in the transfer market so far this year.
Liverpool signed 2022 World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton last month for £35m, eventually rising to £55m with add-ons.
It has since been reported that RB Leipzig midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai has arrived on Merseyside ahead of undergoing a medical after Liverpool triggered his £60m release clause on Friday (the day it was due to expire).
After signing two midfielders for just over a potential £100m, many fans likely assumed that the Merseysiders were done improving their midfield this summer and may turn their attention to right-back or centre-back.
Now though, according to journalist Rudy Galetti, Liverpool are now intensifying their efforts to sign 22-year-old French midfielder, Khephren Thuram.
Unlike Mac Allister and Szoboszlai, though, Thuram is a more defensive-minded option for the Reds, so he may be used in the Fabinho role or in a similar way to Georginio Wijnaldum.
No potential transfer fee is mentioned in the update from Rudy Galetti.
