According to a report from El Nacional, Real Madrid are prepared to sell French international midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni at the end of the season because of his underwhelming problems, injury issues and questionable attitude.
The report adds that Jurgen Klopp is ready to reignite his interest in the player, whom he missed out on before he made the switch to Los Blancos, and Liverpool are prepared to sign him at the end of the season.
Liverpool could offer around €80m (£71m) for the form AS Monaco ace.
Despite reports of an attitude issue coming out of Spain, Liverpool signing Tchouameni does make sense.
A number of Liverpool midfielders are out of contract in the summer and those who remain have not been up to scratch this season.
Fabinho, another former Monaco man, has been one of the best defensive midfielders in the Premier League for several years now, but his form this season has been poor to say the least.
