According to a report via GFFN, Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has had a meeting with the Paris Saint Germain President Nasser Al-Khelaifi in Morocco.
PSG are reportedly looking at the Egyptian as a potential replacement for Lionel Messi who will play for Inter Miami next season.
The report adds that there has been constant contact between Salah and the PSG President for a while. However, a move looks difficult to pull off and there is no guarantee that the two parties met to discuss any potential transfer.
Salah, 31, is under contract with Liverpool until the summer of 2025 when he will be 34 years of age.
Given Liverpool’s lack of right-wing options and the cost involved in signing someone who can replace Salah’s contribution to the squad, letting him go would be a big mistake on Liverpool’s part.
Despite Liverpool finishing 5th in the Premier League and having a very poor first half of the campaign, Salah still scored 19 and assisted 12 in 38 Premier League outings in 2022/23.
Arsenal told they can sign ‘Turkish Lionel Messi’ for €17.5m
