The player in question is Khephren Thuram.
Khephren Thuram is the son of former France international Lilian Thuram and the brother of Borussia Monchengladbach forward Marcus Thuram, who himself is being linked with a move to Chelsea this summer.
The 21-year-old – who is valued at around £22m by Transfermarkt – still has two and a half years left in his current contract so Nice are in a strong position to ask for a big fee to sell their star man.
Thuram joined current side OGC Nice in 2019 from AS Monaco.
He has since made 133 appearances for the Ligue 1 outfit, during which time he has scored eight goals and provided 11 assists, with two of those goals and eight of those assists coming this season.
Now, a report from the Independent claims that Liverpool are prepared to make a move for him after missing out on Jude Bellingham. The Borussia Dortmund midfielder was a top target for Liverpool, but they have cooled their interest in the England international because of the finances involved.
