The Daily Star are reporting that Liverpool are looking at Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips to plug their Jude Bellingham gap.
Liverpool looked set to spend big on Jude Bellingham this summer, but a recent report from the Times claimed the Reds had turned their attention away from the Englishman due to the excessive transfer fee it would take to pry him away from Borussia Dortmund.
Instead, Liverpool are expected to use the Bellingham money on at least two new faces.
One of those names is seemingly Kalvin Phillips.
Kalvin Phillips joined Manchester City last summer after impressing with Leeds United under Marcelo Bielsa for several years.
However, things have not worked out for Phillips at the Etihad. The 27-year-old had a shoulder injury earlier in the season that saw him miss a chunk of games.
And with Euro 2024 next summer, the former Leeds man will likely want to look elsewhere in order to starting playing on a more regular basis.
