First up, Liverpool want to upgrade their midfield during the ongoing transfer window with the signing of Teun Koopmeiners from Atalanta, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Dutch midfielder can play both as a defensive midfielder and a central midfielder. Atalanta will allow the play to leave only if an offer of £35m arrives.

Sticking with midfielders, according to Ben Jacobs, Wolves midfielder Matheus Nunes is definitely on Liverpool’s radar:

“So that [moving for Nunes] might be an example of Liverpool waiting until the summer and then moving,” Ben Jacobs told GIVEMESPORT.

“Again, that would influence their January too, but Nunes is definitely a player on Liverpool’s radar. They just can’t get it done in January, with him having played for the football club this season. So that’s one to watch.”

Elsewhere, Liverpool are considering a move for Galatasaray defender Sacha Boey as they look to bring in more competition for first-coice right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold, according to Turkish outlet A Spor.
