According to a report from Ruhr Nachrichten, Borussia Dortmund are keen on signing Japanese international midfielder Daichi Kamada but they will face competition from the Premier League giants, Liverpool.
Kamada, 26, joined current side Eintracht Frankfurt in 2017 and after a loan spell in 2018, has gone on to become a key figure for Frankfurt.
He has featured 162 times for the German outfit, scoring 37 goals and providing 31 assists in the process.
The Japanese star also played key roles in Frankfurt lifting the Europa League and German Cup.
Kamada is a central midfielder by trade, but he can also play as a no.10 or on the left – something he has done four times this season.
He is a very attack-minded midfielder and has scored 13 and assisted five in 30 ties this season.
More importantly, Kamada is in the final year of his Frankfurt contract, so Liverpool can sign him to a pre-contract agreement now if they wish to.
