Liverpool are prepared to part ways with centre-back Nat Phillips but only on a permanent basis, according to the Sun.
Leeds United have shown interest in signing Phillips on loan but Liverpool would prefer to sell him rather than loan him out.
As well as Leeds, Dutch club Feyenoord are also linked with the Liverpool defender. But no potential asking price is mentioned in the report from the Sun.
Phillips joined Liverpool from Bolton on a free transfer and began his Reds’ stint as an under-23 player.
The now 26-year-old, who has two years remaining on his current Liverpool contract, has since been loaned out to the likes of Bournemouth and Stuttgart.
For Liverpool, meanwhile, he has made just 29 appearances in all competitions during his seven-year stint at the club.
So, it makes sense that Liverpool would want to secure a permanent deal for the stopper, who clearly has no place in Jurgen Klopp’s side.
