Premier League giants Manchester United have entered into discussions with Watford, over a potential deal for a key member of Rob Edwards’ frontline.
The Hornets star in the sights of the transfer team at Old Trafford? Joao Pedro.
The name of attacker Pedro has, of course, taken its place centre stage in the English media headlines for several weeks now.
This came after the Brazilian starlet was identified as a key target on the part of newly-minted Newcastle United, amid the efforts of Eddie Howe and co. to replenish their options up top.
A St. James’ Park switch for Pedro, in turn, was labelled as imminent as recently as this week, only for the Magpies, at the last, to shift their focus towards a deal for Real Sociedad standout Alexander Isak.

Pedro, in turn, has since seen his future thrown back up in the air once more.
This comes with Manchester United now understood to be in direct negotiations with Watford over a deal for Pedro.
As per Italian transfer journalist Nicolo Schira, the Red Devils have offered up a hefty €35 million, in a bid to lure the youngster to Old Trafford ahead of next week’s transfer deadline.
Talks, in turn, are underway between the two clubs, with an agreement potentially in line to be struck as early as this weekend.
