Reports earlier this month linked Kyle Walker, 33, with a move to German champions, Bayern Munich.

Kyle Walker joined Manchester City in the summer of 2017 from Tottenham for around £45m.

The now 33-year-old has enjoyed a historic stint in Manchester, scoring six and assisting 18 in 254 outings across all competitions.

Walker has won five Premier League titles, four League Cups, two FA Cups, two Community Shields and one Champions League.

The right-back was also, of course, a key part of the City sides which became the first English side to complete a domestic treble, the first English side to reach 100 points in one Premier League season and only the second team in PL history to complete the main treble.

Replacing Walker will be a big task, but one name linked is Achraf Hakimi and now, Jonathan Johnson has spoken out on the potential transfer:

“My understanding is that this position is unchanged, and that they could be willing to cash in on Hakimi if it would help them to land on of their other major targets. They’re not too light of other options for that role with Nordi Mukiele and Warren Zaire-Emery able to fill in there as well.”
