According to iNews, Manchester City have joined the race to sign Brighton and Hove Albion striker Evan Ferguson.
Ferguson is expected to cost around £150m, but Manchester City are one of the few clubs in Europe who could actually afford to stump up that amount of cash.
It is added that Pep Guardiola is keen to play the Republic of Ireland international alongside Erling Haaland.
Haaland has never really played in a two-man frontline before so it will be interesting to see how and if that plays out, but given the quality of both players, it could prove fatal to defences around the world.
Evan Ferguson is only 18 years of age but he is already an established Premier League striker.
He has scored 18 in 39 for Brighton in all competitions and has four in four in the league this season.
