Brighton & Hove Albion are leading a host of rival Premier League clubs in the race for a key member of the midfield setup at Leeds United, according to reports.

The Whites star in question? Tyler Adams.

The subject of imminent summer exits, of course, has taken its place front and centre in the headlines at Elland Road over the course of the last couple of weeks.

This comes on the back of Leeds’ damaging relegation to The Championship.

To this point, the likes of Jack Harrison, Illan Meslier, Wilfried Gnonto, Rodrigo, and Crysencio Summerville have all been tipped for swift departures, less than keen on the prospect of a season spent in England’s 2nd tier.

And, as alluded to above, if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, then yet another headline member of the first-team setup in west Yorkshire is the subject of mounting interest from the Premier League.

Midfielder Adams only made the move to Leeds last summer, in a £20 million switch from RB Leipzig.

It would appear, though, that he could soon be on the move once more, having proven himself one of Leeds’ better performers before seeing his debut campaign brought to a premature end owing to a hamstring injury.

All of Brighton & Hove Albion, Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest and Everton, it is understood, are giving serious consideration to offers for the United States captain.

Brighton, as things stand, lead the way, with the Seagulls ‘weighing up a £25million move for the American’.
