Brighton forward Evan Ferguson is ready to snub interest from both Manchester United and Liverpool, as well as clubs around Europe, in order to stay with the Seagulls it has been reported.
The Republic of Ireland man has burst onto the scene this season, becoming the club’s youngest ever Premier League player when he made his debut against Southampton on Boxing Day.
He has registered four goals and two assists in the 13 appearances since, though he suffered an injury that ruled him out of the FA Cup semi-final defeat to Manchester United and it remains unclear whether he will play again this season.
His form, however, has seen plenty of clubs take interest across Europe, with Liverpool and Manchester United among those that have sat up and taken notice of the teenager.
That is sublime.

Despite this, though, the Telegraph report that ‘Evan Ferguson has agreed a fresh long-term contract at the Amex Stadium to secure his immediate future at the club’, with a deal expected to be agreed to keep him at the club beyond his current 2026 contract.
‘He is expected to stay at Brighton next season where he will compete for a first-team place and continue his rapid development’, it is added.
Caicedo was the subject of three bids from Arsenal in January, as well as one from Chelsea, while Mac Allister is expected to leave at the beginning of the summer amid interest again from Liverpool and Manchester United.
Elsewhere, Erik ten Hag’s side have begun the ground work to sign Harry Kane, who is not expected to sign a new deal at Tottenham and who could be available for around £100m this summer.
