Manchester United’s director of football negotiations, Matt Hargreaves, has flown to Italy to try and complete a deal for Fiorentina’s Sofyan Amrabat.
As 101 covered earlier this week, Manchester United are working on a deal to sign Sofyan Amrabat before the transfer window closes.
Man United have been linked with Amrabat all summer and are now attempting to agree a loan deal for the Morocco international.
United saw a €2 million loan bid for the Morocco international turned down earlier this week, and no agreement has yet been reached.
But discussions continue over a deal for Amrabat, with the 27-year-old keen on a move to Manchester United. Fiorentina’s preference is for a permanent sale, while a loan with an obligation is also an option.
Should a deal be completed, Amrabat would be the Red Devils’ third deadline-day signing after goalkeeper Altay Bayindir and left-back, Sergio Reguilon.
