Brighton are looking to get back on track after two losses in a week put their season in jeopardy when they play host to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday afternoon.

The Seagulls were knocked out of the FA Cup on penalties by Manchester United, before falling to a shock 3-1 defeat to Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Wednesday night, leaving them on the brink of missing out on European football next season.

Already enjoying a massive overachievement, Roberto de Zerbi’s side currently sit 8th in the Premier League, but are five points behind fifth-placed Aston Villa with three games in hand, meaning that a spot in the Europa League is up for grabs should they be able to put a run of form together between now and the end of the season.

They welcome a Wolves side that have found form of their own, winning three of their last four Premier League games to move away from the threat of relegation, and in the knowledge that another three points would see them over the magical 40 mark, where survival is almost assured.

Here’s how we expect Brighton to line up for the challenge, plus the latest team news from the AMEX.

Team News

De Zerbi’s side still have their fair share of injury worries, with five first team players out of contention.

Meanwhile, Tariq Lamptey, Jakub Moder and Jeremy Sarmiento are all out until next season, meaning that Pascal Grob may be asked to fill in at right-back once more against Wolves.
