Manchester United began their summer spending by agreeing a deal to sign England midfielder Mason Mount from Chelsea on a five-year contract for £55m, plus £5m in add-ons.
They then completed the £47.2m signing of goalkeeper Andre Onana from Inter Milan last month.
Their latest bit of business saw them snap up Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta for an initial £64m plus £8m in add-ons.
Now, Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on Man United’s transfer business going forward.
It is probably not the news United fans were hoping for, however, as every deal mentioned would be a sale, rather than bringing in a new player:
“Today and in the next days, Man United will be busy with many deals,” Romano said. “Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay; West Ham’s opening bid was rejected, but United will stay in contact.
