CR7 has made it obvious that he is looking to leave Manchester United this summer, with the main reason behind an exit his desire to protect his Champions League goal-scoring record.
However, due to his age, wages and his inability to fit into many modern systems, Ronaldo is having a hard team finding a new club.
This has seen Ronaldo return to Manchester United were he now looks to be United’s third-choice centre-forward option behind Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford, the latter of which started up top vs Liverpool and scored.
After that game, Bruno Fernandes has shared his thoughts on a potential Ronaldo exit.
Fernandes told Eleven Sports on Ronaldo: “There is a lot of speculation, but there is no one better than Cristiano to talk about it. I may know a thing or two, but I won’t be the one to say it. For now he is a United player, I don’t know about his future, if he will leave or if he will not leave. As he said, he will speak soon and they will have time to hear his words and what he has to say.
“I don’t think anyone has shown so far that there was no interest in Cristiano not staying. He can continue at a high level and give us a lot of goals but it’s his decision.
