Manchester United’s lack of striking options has been clear for some time now.
Wout Weghorst joined the club on loan in January to help plug the gap for the second half of the season.
However, when the summer rolls around, it is clear Manchester United will be in the market for a top no.9.
One of the names being linked is Harry Kane of Tottenham and England.
Kane’s future in north London is up in the air amid more struggles from a Spurs side who continue to look very unlikely to lift a trophy anytime soon.
Now though, reports on Tuesday claim Manchester United aren’t currently seriously considering a move to sign Kane, and prefer Napoli forward Victor Osimhen.
This is excellent news for Tottenham, who look set to keep their star man and top goalscorer for another campaign.
However, it is less positive for Kane, who is likely desperate to win some silverware in the coming years.
