Arsenal’s title chances took a major blow in April when they drew three and lost one in the league.
This saw Manchester City overtake them atop of the division heading into the final run of games.
Mikel Arteta’s side have just three matches to go in 2022/23, starting at home to Brighton on Sunday, and will finish with a club-record 90 points if they win all those matches.
However, that may still not be enough to see off Manchester City, who have comfortably finished on around 98 points in the previous five campaigns.
Now, Bukayo Saka has been discussing Arsenal’s title hopes:
“We are going to fight to the end,” said Saka. “I am really confident, of course, in the team [to keep this momentum going]. We had a tough last month, but we are back with two wins on the spin.
“It was a really high-intensity game [at Newcastle]. We really gave everything from minute one to 96, because we needed to.”
