Manchester United look to be in the market for a new goalkeeper.
David de Gea has been a mainstay in United’s side for many years and recently entered the Red Devils’ top-10 list for most appearances.
However, De Gea is not good with the ball at his feet and as Erik ten Hag prefers to play out from the back, it would make sense to sign a new shot-stopper who is good on the ball.
Now, a report from O Jogo claims that the Premier League giants have been scouting Portuguese international goalkeeper Diogo Costa ahead of a transfer at the end of the season.
Costa has been an impressive performer for Porto this season and it is no surprise that the top clubs across Europe are keeping tabs on him.
No potential transfer fee is mentioned in the report, but Manchester United could easily use some of the money they are likely to receive for Dean Henderson this summer to help fund a move for Costa.
