Real Sociedad have approached Manchester United to sign Donny van de Beek this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The first initial contact between the two clubs has now been made after Real Sociedad began discussing terms with Donny van de Beek last week.
No potential transfer fee or whether it will be a loan or permanent move is mentioned in the report, but Van de Beek is valued at just €13m on transfermarket.com, suggesting he will not cost too much.
Van de Beek has two years left on his current contract, which was signed in 2020 when he made the €39m move from Ajax.
The Dutchman’s stint at Old Trafford has not gone to plan at all though.
Despite impressing with Ajax for several years, the midfielder struggled for regular minutes under Ole Gunna Solskjaer before being loaned out to Everton.
