The player in question is Eintracht Frankfurt striker, Randal Kolo Muani.
Muani joined Frankfurt last summer and the striker has gone on to have a very impressive debut season in Germany.
He scored 23 goals and provided 17 assists in 46 outings across all competitions this past season.
Now, according to Football Insider, Manchester United have made contact with Eintracht Frankfurt over a potential summer deal for striker Randal Kolo Muani. The 24-year-old has been on the shortlist at Old Trafford for a while and club chiefs have now sounded out Frankfurt about the possibility of making a transfer a reality.
It is added that the hitman could cost in the region of £85million and that European giants Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are also keen as they look for replacements for Robert Lewandowski and Karim Benzema respectively.
£85m is a steep figure but it is likely less than Tottenham and Napoli would demand for Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen respectively.
