Manchester United were the most dominant team in the Premier League during Sir Alex Ferguson’s reign.
The Scotsman guided the Red Devils to a record 13 Premier League titles from 1992/93 to his retirement in 2013.
However, since Sir Alex Ferguson left the club, Manchester United have fallen away.
They are yet to win another Premier League and their highest points total remains the 81 Jose Mourinho secured in 2017/18.
Now, Rio Ferdinand his hit out at Manchester United for selling a number of players who he described as the ‘lifeblood’ of United:
“One of the big things they messed up on… they sold the Da Silva twins, they sold Welbeck, they sold Chicharito, Jonny Evans, all in a short space of time,” Ferdinand said on Vibe With Five.
