Supporters of Premier League giants Liverpool have flooded to social media on Saturday night, to make their frustrations with a central member of the club’s first-team setup known.
Jurgen Klopp’s troops, of course, are currently locked in action.
Fresh off a morale-boosting drubbing of Dutch champions Ajax in midweek, the Reds turned their attentions back towards matters on the domestic front, in a meeting with Leeds United.
Liverpool’s evening, however, could not have gotten off to a much worse start.
This came as a mixup between Joe Gomez and Alisson opened the door for Leeds to take the lead, courtesy of Rodrigo Moreno:

The hosts, to their credit, have since gotten back on level terms, courtesy of a volleyed Mohamed Salah finish from close range.
Amid criticism for a whole host of Reds stars, one member of Klopp’s squad, in particular, has been singled out for more widespread condemnation than any other.
The player in question? Fabinho.
Long accused of failing to live up to his previously impeccable standards, the Brazilian’s struggles in protecting his back-4 once more on Saturday have not gone down at all well, with just some of the social media backlash showcased below:

I thought we would be replacing Ox, Keita and Milner in midfield this summer.
Add Fabinho to that list. He’s gone.
