Chelsea and Manchester United are set to rival Tottenham for the signing of David Raya this summer, with all three clubs on the hunt for a new no.1 goalkeeper.
The Brentford man has impressed with both his shot-stopping and distribution since joining the Bees, and was on the radar of current Premier League leaders Arsenal before they ultimately opted to move for Aaron Ramsdale instead.
Come this summer, he will be entering the last 12 months of his contract, and the Spaniard is likely to attract widespread interest, meaning that clubs could well have a fight on their hands to secure his signature.
As per the Telegraph, all three of the traditional ‘big six’ have earmarked him as a potential successor for their current no.1′s with their current options having all received their fair share of criticism.

Tottenham’s Hugo Lloris was arguably at fault for both goals in the north London derby, while Kepa Arrizabalaga has flattered to deceive since becoming Chelsea’s no.1. In Manchester, David De Gea has improved but is now 32-years-old and is expected to take more of a backseat role next season as the Red Devils find a shot-stopper more suited to Ten Hag’s desire to play out from the back.
Raya was taken to the World Cup over De Gea, but did not feature for Spain. Signed for £3m by the Bees, he is expected to command a fee of £15m-£20m when he seemingly inevitably departs this summer.
