Chelsea head coach Frank Lampard has, on Saturday evening, provided an update on the wellbeing of Ben Chilwell.
For those who may have missed it, left-back Chilwell set pulses racing across the Chelsea fanbase earlier today.
This came upon the 26-year-old being forced into a premature departure from the club’s latest outing.
En route to a much-needed 3-1 downing of Bournemouth, Chilwell pulled up with an issue 15 minutes from time, before being replaced by Cesar Azpilicueta.

Speaking to the media on the back of proceedings at the Vitality Stadium coming to a close, it therefore came as little surprise when the subject of Chilwell’s wellbeing was put to his manager.
And Frank Lampard went on to admit that the former Leicester City man may well be facing up to a spell on the sidelines.
‘With a hamstring (injury) at this point of the season; it’s a worry for the remaining games,’ Lampard explained.
