Fabrizio Romano has revealed that a deal to bring Pochettino to Stamford Bridge is almost done.
Chelsea have been very cautious in their approach to appointing a new manager and want to get their decision spot on.
This is why negotiations with Poch have taken some time, but finally, the west London club are close to reaching an agreement with him.
“From what I heard in the last 24/48 hours there were new contacts.
“They are discussing many different things, it’s about the future project, contract details and plans on the players.
“Chelsea want to be 100 per cent sure on the choice they will make on the new coach.
“This is why the process with Pochettino was not as fast as expected.”
