Chelsea headed into the game top of their Champions League group with seven points from four games.
As a result, the Blues knew a win on Tuesday would see them top their group and book their spot in the knockout rounds.
At the time of writing, Chelsea are 1-0 up thanks to a wonder goal from Mateo Kovacic.
However, it should really be 2-0, if not for some poor finishing from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The striker has looked far from his best in the first 45, and really should have buried a chance shortly after half an hour when he was played in by Kai Havertz.
Following his poor start vs RB Salzburg, Aubameyang has come in for some heavy criticism online, with just some of the reaction shown below:
