A fresh insight into the transfer plans of the powers that be at Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur has been provided on Sunday evening.
And the news points towards Antonio Conte and co. eyeing reinforcements in one more area of the pitch.
As per a report from The Athletic, Spurs are on the lookout for fresh blood in the attacking third.
This of course comes after the capital outfit were subjected to heavy criticism owing to the defensive nature of their latest display, en route to a 1-0 downing of Wolves on Saturday.

Even more central to the decision to seek out another forward, though, is the imminent departure of a current member of Conte’s ranks.
The player in question? Bryan Gil.
This comes after Los Che standout Goncalo Guedes sealed a big-money move to the Premier League with Bruno Lage’s Wolves earlier this month.
🚨Tottenham Hotspur are now expected to sign another forward, with Bryan Gil close to signing for Valencia.
🇪🇸Gil joined Valencia on loan in the January window without a permanent option. It came after failing to score in 20 matches for Spurs.

Should Tottenham, as expected, now go on to strike a deal for another addition to the club’s first-team setup, it would mark the 8th such signing of the summer on the Lilywhite half of north London.
This comes after Daniel Levy and Fabio Paratici sanctioned previous swoops for all of Richarlison, Yves Bissouma, Djed Spence, Destiny Udogie, Clement Lenglet, Ivan Perisic, and Fraser Forster.
