A 2-0 loss to Aston Villa which left Chelsea languishing in midtable with just 10 games to go was seemingly the final straw for Graham Potter, who was relieved of his duties on Sunday night.

One such name has already spent time in the Stamford Bridge dugout.
A report from Relevo claims that Chelsea have been in contact with Jose Mourinho, and it will be interesting to see if Jose Mourinho is willing to accept the offer.
Mourinho has managed Chelsea twice in the past, between 2004 and 2007, and from 2013 to 2015. He managed to guide Chelsea to three league title wins as well.
The Portuguese has also won silverware at every club he has managed, barring Tottenham – though he did get them to a League Cup final but was sacked before he could oversee said game.
Lampard’s first outing back is an away trip to Wolves on Saturday.
